About

At Northwell Health Division of Rheumatology, our dedicated rheumatologists treat patients in need of specialty care, all while actively engaging in groundbreaking research. We additionally provide a broad array of educational activities for patients, allied health professionals, medical students, young doctors and seasoned rheumatologists.

The Division of Rheumatology is on the leading edge of its field. With major diagnostic and therapeutic advances over the last two decades, we have greatly improved the outlook for patients with diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, vasculitis, lupus, myositis, gout and scleroderma. Our division integrates the latest research findings into clinical practice and offers students a unique bedside view of this expanding area of specialization.

We provide comprehensive services and compassionate care, which has earned us the trust of patients, their families and referring physicians. Our highly skilled rheumatologists practice in our state-of-the-art ambulatory site, and provide consultative care to inpatients and outpatients in clinics at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In addition to our ambulatory and clinical sites, we also treat patients in our infusion centers—specialized units that offer advanced therapies that require intravenous administration. Patients visit these centers to receive highly effective treatments for arthritis, lupus, vasculitis and other inflammatory diseases.
