Cohen Children's
Graduate medical education programs
Cohen Children's invests in the next generation of pediatric caregivers by offering a wide range of high-level educational and training opportunities. We have top-notch residency, fellowship and internship programs in a variety of disciplines—all designed to give participants well-rounded, hands-on experience in pediatric care. To ensure our residents receive the best clinical education and professional development, we provide one-on-one mentorship, subspecialty training and opportunities to conduct research. We demonstrate how to provide exceptional patient care in diverse settings, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
Since our students are able to gain intense experience at Cohen Children’s, they are fully prepared to assist in decision-making and management if they are called to evaluate pediatric issues at other facilities throughout Northwell Health. By the end of their experience, they have a great pediatric foundation, which inspires many of them to continue on to a fulfilling career in helping children. We are proud to say that we have helped cultivate the talents of some of the country’s leading pediatric clinicians, researchers and academicians.
There are many graduate medical education opportunities in pediatrics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, as well as throughout Northwell.
