Pediatric surgery

Three doctors, one female and two male, stand in a hallway in a hospital, discussing a case. One of them holds a clipboard.
A truly well-rounded and rewarding experience
Our pediatric surgery fellows manage patients in the preoperative, operative and postoperative stages, while participating in a combination of daily rounds, journal clubs, case conferences, grand rounds and a formal online educational series.

Graduate medical education

The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell offers a two-year clinical fellowship training program in pediatric surgery at Cohen Children’s Medical Center—the only tertiary children’s hospital on Long Island. The program provides a broad experience in all aspects of pediatric general surgery with extensive training in minimally invasive surgery, pediatric oncology, inflammatory bowel disease and neonatal surgery. Fellows are surrounded by expert faculty and staff committed to comprehensive care of children, from newborns to young adults.

Our representatives are available to schedule your appointment Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.
